hi, does anyone know where i would be able to get an unlocked v600 when it becomes available? is ther like a normal retailer that sells unlocked phone.

ebay. There are few, very few at the moment, reputable cell phone sellers that are dealing in the v600. Beware of the MLM marketing traders selling you only a link, however. Unless you want to get into the business of selling phones.
