Sorry, I have not been able to find this info anywhere else, but can you type text notes on this phone? I really need something that can hold a bunch of notes(I am a writer who doesn't like to carry a Palm or pen/paper).

Thanks

You can't wrie those kind of notes on this. Go to check out this Sony Clie PEG-UX50 Mobile Internet PDA. You can click this link to view it.

Motorola actually has a phone that's being tested that's like this.

Also, you can go into Comp USA and play around with the Sony Clie PEG-UX50. I'm looking for a Palm or PDA. Most of them are little bigger than what I want to carry around daily. That SOny Clie model size is perfect. Although they're smaller now, the pocket PC phones are still a little big. Also, you might want check out the Treo 600.

What do you mean by "those kind of notes"? I just mean typing in a sentence or two of info so I remember it.

I definitely wouldn't get a Clie just to take down a couple of sentences worth of info. Got a model # on the new Motorola that can take notes?

Those kind of notes meaning that you made it seem as if you needed to type a few paragraphs. You can use the drafts for that under messages.

Maybe even a better idea would be to use the voice memo feature. If you're in a hurry, or driving, and can't be bothered to drill into the menus where this feature can be found, just create a shortcut, so you can get at it instantly with 2 button pushes.

Say you want to assign a shortcut for voice memo to button number 3 on your phone - once you've set it up, all you have to do is push the main menu botton, followed by the 3. You can do this without having to take your eyes off the road.
