Motorola V600 AT&T Availability
The Motorola V600 is now in the AT&T storage areas. According to a sales representative at a newly opened AT&T Wireless store, "It is just a matter of days before the release." He also had a dummy Motorola V600 Phone. Yes, it is possible that the representative could have been "lying", but there would be no reason for it. He wasn't offering me anything and trying to sway me a certain way. Odds are, within the next week, the phone will be available for AT&T Wireless.

This is true. The official release date is 3/29. This means the phones should be in the stores within a week or so.

You would think AT&T (or moto) would do a better job of informing their sales people. I called a store and the 1800 number and the guy at the 1800 number said he had no idea when it was coming out. The store I called said they got their release kit but didn't have a date, just probably 2 weeks or so. If the release date is truly this coming week I would think they would at least give this as a consistent message to their stores, etc. Oh well, once again I will truly believe the phone is out when either a.) someone on here posts pics of them buying the phone at an att store, etc. or b.) the phone is sitting in my hand because I have bought it. I HOPE YOU GUYS ARE RIGHT THOUGH!

I just got off the phone with an AT&T rep. She told me she has not recieved any information on the phone, nor does it show up on the system. She also told me they recieve info on new phones a week a two before its actually comes out, she has not recieved any word yet.

I talked to a rep today and they told me that it would be out by the end of the month he also said I'm 100% sure so looks like it Will be out the 30th because thats the day AT&T receives shipments TUES AND FRIDAY

I, too, called ATT Wireless and the operator suggested that I "waiting until Monday" before making and service provider / phone purchase decisions would be a good idea.
I have the v400 on order from Cingular (really like their service) but would be very willing to cancel that order if this one comes out on Monday...

I a couple weeks ago I talked to an Att rep and he said they dont know when the phone is released till the day it is in stores. But im sure if u ask another rep they will say something different. 😕
