Re: V600 Low ear-piece vol at max setting....hardware or software prob?
Spencer 500, are you sure its because i have a bad phone? Two other people have told me they have the same problem, keypad tones are low also (at max volume). We bought them from the same place, extele.com. Could it be possible its because my s/w being DR_A1 instead of being DR_A ?

As long as all of your software settings are turned up, then I would say it is a phone thing. Honestly, this v600 is the loudest phone I have ever used. That is often a pet peve of mine...but this one I often turn down.
I am running 1DR.A version. Mine was also very loud with the 1CR version.

I have the 1CR_A version. The handset itself is really loud. I concur on that with Spencer. But with that HS801 headset set to 7, I can hardly hear a thing. I was wondering about that also when I first got the phone and started using it. I think (and it's just a guess, as I am as clueless about this as anyone) it might be software related . . . at least I hope!

I would agree that the bluetooth headset is very weak and not very loud.
The phone itself is great, the headset is a dissapointment.
If anyone else out there has used others, it that typical...or are there other bluetooth headsets you would recommend?
