FYI - V600 and different versions
Ok, well I just learned (maybe you all did) that there is a Euro version and Asian version of this phone. I was one of the fortunate souls that got one of each. To be honest with you I hate the Asian version.
The Euro version allows for delivery confirmation on SMS/ MMS, etc whereas the other doesn't. Also, the euroversion allows you to forward all pics (including wallpapers) where the other one doesn't.
I found out the hard way. Plemix sent me the asian one, and I saw it was different than the first one I got from them. The day I got it, I noticed it and emailed them. I didn't use the phone at all. I asked them if they could exchange it for the Euro one. I said I'd pay for the shipping to and from there. They said they would ...

Umm ... I flashed my v600 (came with 1CR (Asian) firmware) with firmware 1DR (European), and I have delivery confirm on SMS & MMS. I can forward pictures too.

The asian one says "GPRS" in the corner where the date is on my Euro one.

The flex on the v600 from plemix hides the menu that shows the flash/flex versions.
The latest firmware for Asia as of 3/1 is 1CR, and for Europe, 1DR.
After I flashed my v600 to 1DR, my phone now shows a date in the upper left instead of "GPRS".
My phone is stable ... and feels a bit faster too (probably because it doesn't have the asian languages to handle).

I know that you are AT&T in Chicago. I am AT&T in the NE Pennsylvania market. Are you experiencing very, very long delays with text messages and very sporatic delays in voice mail notification on the phone. Also, my voice mail indicator will not turn off (even after power cycle).
I absolutely love the phone except these are two pretty big issues in my mind. I called AT&T today and they were very accomodating and helpful (must have gotten a good one), but no solution. She even connected us to a Motorola rep...who knew nothing unfortunately.
Any help would be great. Do you think that flashing to TRIPLETS_G_0B.09.9ER might help? I am currently on the same 1DR version you are on.

What is your flex version? Did you flash & flex from the cjb site? I only did the flash with 1DR, and I'm not having any delays with text messages, or vm delays. My vm icon goes off immediately when I call my vm.
I heard that it might be a problem with AT&T on the east coast, and that users in the midwest & west coast are okay now ...
