i can't refute the fact that they are in contract with at&t but the folks i talked to at t-mobile have nothing to gain by telling me that t-mobile will be getting the v600. i am a satisfied at&t customer who happens to know some decision makers at t-mobile. 🙂

OK, OK, OK, everyone who wants to speculate. T-Mobile WILL get the V600. The agreement AT&T has with Motorola is a LIMITED time exclusivity agreement. It is set for 30-60 days. After this time, other carriers may get the phone, and in fact, other carriers may even have exclusivity "tag along" agreements with Motorola. What this means is that After AT&T's agreement expires, Cingular may have an agreement that states that for 30,60,90 days only Cingular can sell the phone along with AT&T Wireless. This would essentially lock out T-Mobile until this agreement is over.
There! Hopefully this will end the speculation by unknowing people as to the way exclusivity agreements work.
