If I were gonna hack this thing...
And put an alternat OS on it... which would be best? Android? Some distro of Linux?

WinMo phones are by far the easiest to hack, and who's to say later down the road you might find a ported version on android for this?

best place for that is xda 😎 , google it and 👀 read the wiki 😳 for the TP2 very hackable im sure there are tons or custom roms being built running WinMo 6.5. 😁

Man you have no idea. you can do anything with wm. i started off way back with the ppc the brick. now i have the touch pro. ive had the mogul before this one. and i absolute love the flexibility wm gives me.
right now im running spb mobile shell and its awsome. and i get bored of that i can go to the very cutomizable touch flo (with the right app)
you can make ya wm phone look like anything. mines looks like a cross of andorid and pre's web os. awsome. when i turn on my phone it saids android im working on getting and iphone logo for them haters. 😁
