BlackBerry Storm 9530
Love my new Storm2!
Ok. So I have been used and abused by the 9530 since Nov 21st of 2008. I have had 6 of them and all of them were replaced by VZW no questions asked.
I am a very heavy user with 4 emails being pushed, facebook, aim, google talk, and poynt as my primary apps that I use and use OFTEN.
Honestly, I really didnt think there would be a big difference btw the 2 but it is a night and day experience for me. I was a very fast typer on the 9530 and didnt think there was anything wrong with the last screen, but I thoroughly enjoy the new screen (and I didnt think I would after playing with the device for 5 min in the store).
I even tried the Imagio for 2 weeks but I couldnt handle it for typing and I did miss the BB world/bbm despite old interfa...

I have had mine out of the box for 15 minutes as I write this. That qualifies me as an expert on here right? 🤣
Initial impressions:
-The click is different. I'll need to get used to it.
-typing on the keyboard is insane! No comparison there. Storm 2 wins by miles!

Yea, I played with the device in the store for 5 min and I wasn't sure if I liked the new screen or not. This lasted all of 5 min for me when I got to actually use my phone. I love the new screen and all the freed up memory allows a much nicer user experience

Your "suffering" won't amount to an ounce of what 12 months of the Storm1 with the "throw it against the wall" performance factor was for all us victims. The phone with the new 5.0 build is A-B almost identical to the Storm2. Yeah, a little tighter build, smoother, but its the same freaken phone! I was expecting miracles with all the hype but if your holding both of them side by side in a darkened room, you won't know which one is which! 😁 I'll keep kidding myself that purchasing this thing the other day was a revelation..... Nicer body, but the same engine!
