I have seen on other post about changing the signal strength bars to show up in numeric form. Can anyone explain how this is done? I tried all sorts of ways and cant get it to work.

i read if you go to options then network and change it to 1xev not global, you will gain some signal strenght. thats if you have verizon. the theory is you wont be searching for both gsm and cdma and you will only look for cdma. im trying now ill see how it works

as for numbers cant help ya.

"Options" and then choose "status" will show you the signal strength but I don't know of any way to permanently change it on the main screen
