1st thing was I deleted the vz navigator and reinstalled it. I also went to the Verizon Blackberry web site and I have updated my phone 2 times since I purchased the phone and has help a lot with the speed and some of the bugs. I hope that helps. As soon as they fix the bugs this will be a great phone! 🙂 Here is the web site for verizon wireless updates.

some updates already out for BES users. More than a few people have talked about the VZW Navagator trick as well in other forums so this is good advice

Thanks for the website link 😁

Thanks HawkeyeOC. It has really helped. The only major problem I have is getting the phone to come up to make a call. I have a major delay. like I said they will fix all of this. The iphone had major problems when it was released and I was all fixed not to long after the release. Later 🙂

You could try a battery pull every once in a while to clear the phone and get in the habit of closing apps. The more open, the slower it will run

my beef is mostly with the accelerometer. Not sure if this is a hardware issue or not. I know a lot of people complained about it with the iphone too

Any smartphone these days seems to have it's initial issues. The iphone was no exception.

crackberry.com is a good source of info too

yes texting does get easier. i had iphone for several months, hated the texting and i have tiny fingers. landscape mode alternative makes all the difference, plus you wont accidentally hit keys since u have to physically push ur choice.
i am normally very critical of phones, especially when it comes to texting, this phone has grown on me
