Simple steps to address lag issues

As I have stated before, you can drastically reduce the "lag" experienced out of the box on this phone:

-Open the BB menu by pressing the BB Menu button
-Scroll down to Options, select by pressing the icon
-Scroll to Screen/Keyboard and select
-Scroll to Touchscreen

-Increase the Tap Interval to 500.
-Increase the Hover Period to 1000.
-Increase the Swipe Sensitivity to High (6).
-Key Rate to Fast.


BIG difference!

Dude, stop blowing smoke up people's asses. That has already been suggested by all the major reviewers and they even mention in the phoneareana review how it did very little to improve anything.

Simply not true.
Factory default settings are not for everyone. Everyone should change settings to suit individual styles and tastes.
made a big difference in my case ๐Ÿ˜

Also try deleting un-needed apps like VZW Navagator. Less on any OS always helps. This is true for any type of computer or phone.

BTW most reviews I have read so far have been from pre-release phones. Some of these guys only get a little time to play with them before release.
Not all have been negative in fact its been at both ends of the spectrum.

Would you not go to a movie because of a bad review?

You are just plain full of crap. I do not even think you own the phone. Every thing you say about it is contrary to the facts. You are likely just a Verizon sales rep trolling the board and doing damage control.

What a comeback! Yeah...everyone here who likes the phone must just be a Verizon Rep who probably doesn't even own the phone...we're all just trying our best to make people think it's cool! Yeah...good one! Just like I know that FSCdude must be an AT&T or Apple Rep whos only trying to taint the competition! I know it's true because an apple came to me in a dream and told me so! LOL!

Dude (no pun intended)...I've had a Storm for a week. It has some minor lag, but outside of that, it works fine. Feel free to believe whatever your little mind can conjure up, but my Storm is working great for me. There is no 'proof' on the web that can change the fact that the Storm I own works great.

I don't care about 1 single review out there. I have a great phone, you have 3 you don't like?

My likes and dislikes come from owning the Storm and not reviews of them ๐Ÿ˜

I think it makes perfect sense. In another post he said he owns a business account with multiple lines. I also provide phones for multiple employees and I know what he is talking about. I do not have nearly as many as he does but I did allow my employees to pick their own models as long as they had certain required features.
