Verizon only taking advanced orders online
I went to a Verizon store today before they opened but the line was too long, so I ordered the storm over the phone at 7:30 this morning and it will arrive tomorrow before 12:00 payed extra for Saturday shipping. When I got home I noticed that online orders were only advanced orders that will ship before 12/5. I will review after I get mine tomorrow but played with one in a store I think I finially found the right phone for me!

Verizon in a nutshell couldn't handle all the traffic it got today.
Their computers did crash, online orders at different points wouldn't give order numbers, taking all day to get tracking numbers, limited 1st day inventory in some stores.
Verizon finally gave some rough guidelines on when they would ship the phone by depending on what time you ordered! Word is if you order tomorrow 11/22 it will ship by the 15th of Dec!

Wow! Glad I placed my order in the store around 9:00 a.m.! I got free overnight shipping for a Saturday arrival! I did get to play with a live phone quite a bit yesterday, so I somewhat know what to expect, and I can't hardly wait! I know there's still some software issues, but I know there will be a fix on the way.
