Motorola i776

ive had problems with this phone before, mainly with texting and poor reception. but now my phone wont charge. i bought a new charger thinking that was the problem. it worked for a few days, and then the same problem started up again. so i bought a new battery. apparently that wasnt the problem either since it still wont charge. but when i try to charge it, it shows it charging. can anyone tell me how to fix this??
