pearl or curve?... And do you HAVE to buy the Internet plan

1st I am not sure if I should get the curve or pearl.. Opinion would be nice

2nd do you have to pay for Internet plan.. I want a blackberry for texting and such not email and internet.. Do I still have to pay for email and Internet??

only major difference is screen size, overall shape of the phone, and the keyboard. Compare those differences and find out which one you prefer.

Or you could just read the reviews on this website....theres plenty of them for either phone.

Finally, make a final decision and enjoy.

And yes, with verizon you HAVE TO HAVE atleast the 10MB package which is 24.99. They will not activate a blackberry without it

kk.. thanks.. becasue i was hearing from people that i could get a blackberry without that plan, and people were saying they have done it

Since this is about the CDMA version, Verizon and Sprint do require at least the basic BlackBerry plan (aka BIS [BlackBerry Internet Service]). Best thing to do is call each carrier's corporate retail store and ask them what is included in the basic plan and for how much.

I know with US Cellular they do need at least the 24.95 data plan with it..

for the phone it all depends on the the person buying it.. if that person likes small screen/keyboard, they should go with the pearl. and if the person likes big screen/keyboard, they should go with the curve. 🙂
