BlackBerry Curve 8330
Synching with a mac! Need a little help!
Ok,
So i have pocketmac installed on my macbook pro. My 8830 syncs fine. But I just got the 8330 tonight and everything is great, except I can't get my contacts to sync. It keeps saying there is an error...
Anybody out there tried synching the verizon curve with a mac? Let me know
Btw, this phone has been great so far and the vibrate is super strong, which was kind of weak on the 8830. Def glad my corp store manager friend hooked it up a little early 🙂

Don't tell me that bro. Crap, I'm all about Mac and I'm supposed to get mine by Friday. What programs do I need to sync the Curve with my Macbook Air? Thanks.

Typically you just need pocket mac, but that doesnt seem to be working to well with my macbook pro.

I got an email back from pocketmac support and they didnt really help much. They basically redirected me to the same driver update that didnt work before.
I will keep everyone posted as I get more info. But at this point, it's not looking great...

i had the same problem initially. i had to uninstall about 2 or 3 times and re-download before i could get it to work. I changed the sequence and it worked for me.
I d/l pocketmac, didn't restart the comp. then d/l the patch, then restarted the comp and it worked after that. The first few times i got the skipping error message and then and unexpected quitting error message after that.
Try d/l in the sequence i said above without the phone plugged in and it may work. good luck!

I'll have to try that too... I had the Pearl and didn't have any luck importing info...

just an fyi. I have a macbook pro and I have started with pocketmac and found it to be watered down version of the desktop software. I found a software that is amazing with mac's and blackberry's if you are willing to pay for it. It does everything the desktop software is supposed to do for a mac, plus a little more. It is 39.95 but I found it to be well worth it.
