SD Card question on LG Dare
Hi I just traded in my Samsung i760 for the dare and I put in my 4gb card but how can I acess any of the info? I had some pictures and ring tones will I not be able to use them due to them comeing from a PDA phone? As far as the ring tones go do I just send them to 1234567890@vzwpix.com or can I put them on the micro SD card and then in the phone (but if I do that what do I put them as?) sorry for all the dumb questions but I was just getting use to the PDA phone now I'm all lost again ;)

It might work to connect the DARE to your PC in USB Mass storage mode, then move your files to your PC. From there you should be able to move them into the MY_PIX folder on the SD card. Probably best to copy to the PC first in case something goes wrong, you will still have a copy.

yeah i would copy to a folder on PC first, then format the card in the dare. then connect and download via mass storage. best bet. you should be able to move all your sounds to the card from the i760, but i haven't messed with that one much to know the menus. usually u can go into the my sounds menu and click options, move, mark all, move to card
