HELP with the 8130

Is there a way to brighten the lcd on the Pearl? I was also wondering if you can use personal pictures for a back ground.

for brightness, go to options>screen/keyboard. you can adjust the backlight there.

as for setting a picture for a background, open up any picture you have on the phone, hit the blackberry key, and select "set as homescreen image".
