I hate when people down grade a phone when it comes out! Verizon is very good at fixing the bugs with new software updates which I dont know any other carrier that does. This phone the Voyager is only gonna get better in time and is not past its prime! Be patient some of you! And the Dare is in no way better than the Voyager!

Voyager has been out for 8 months, and that is actually past current peak sales volume for most mobile phones, with the notable exception of the iphone (but note that they have come out with new versions, and also note that older versions aren't upgradeable to the new features).
Peak product ife in the mobile phone industry is about 6 months. Voyager may get some eadditional bug fixes, but don't count on any significant feature upgrades. That's just not now the industry works.
Dare is different, not better. It has a larger screen and some improvements to the UI but lacks a mechanical keyboard. it looks more like an iphone. It still isn't one.
If you like voyager, keep it. If it suits your needs, buy it. But it's no longer cutting ...

The Voyager was prematurely put on the market because of high dommand and I do think it will get beter in time.. Thanks for your info on the industry anon99.

Well, mine won't get better in time. Is someone going to come out and replace the 2mp camera with a 3mp camera plus flash? Are they going to reposition the speakers on my unit so I don't have to open a clamshell for speaker mode? Are they going come over to my house to replace the touch screen with a more sensitive version? Are they going to replace the bluetooth circuit so it actually works reliably beyond about two feet?
Oh, wait a minute. That's the Dare.
My voyager is not going to get any better than it is right now. Might they come out with a Voyager 2? Maybe. But that'...

There will be another software update for sure thats why I say it will get better, have already talked to verizon and they r working on it, but I get what u mean bro.....
