Looking at getting a Voyager and currently have America's Choice Plan that I have had for many years and they tell me I need the Nationwide Calling Plan. Can you please explain what the difference between the plans and anything else you would like to share with me?
Thanks again.

With the new Nationwide plans, you no longer have the airtime charge for GIN or Mobile Web. There isn't a $5/month fee for Mobile Web anymore, it's $1.99/MB when it's used, and it's cumulative over the entire month. Hope this helps... 😁

Verizon is screwing us now with the Nationwide plan. I have Vcast package so it don't effect me but wife and son if they accidentally click on web for a second and then clear out, whoops $1.99 charge on the bill. I have called and did the blocking myself to stop it but it don't block getting the web to pop up, even when it shows they blocked web access. So if a lot of people do same thing, Verizon is raking in a lot of extra money each month.

I suspect it's not an accident. You might just want to go ahead and spring for a few bucks a month to get a data plan and joint the 21st century.

Anon99, I already have vcast on my phone, and we don't need another $30.00 added to a $150.00 a month bill as it is. Yes 21stcentury and the economy is bad so we have to watch every dollar spent. I was just trying to warn people what to expect with nation wide service. Not everyone wants or needs the Vcast package. We do have unlimited text, pics and video on all 3 phones.

It's not $1.99 each time it's used. If you accidentally access Mobile Web for a second or so, it probably won't charge you anything. It's $1.99 per megabyte, and accessing it accidentally won't charge you $1.99. It's accumulated over the entire month. You can use Mobile Web a couple of times during the month and you may not reach 1MB.

Wrong, you get the $1.99 charge and if you go over 1 mb alittle its another $1.99. That has happened and that is what customer service told me. Now I have vcast so I dont worry about it. But my wife hit it on and then off $1.99 charge
