Should I get a Voyager?

I recently ordered the Glyde through customer service and have not yet activated. I read the reviews on the Glyde and they were not very good. I called customer service today and can get a Voyager on sale with rebates and discounts. The reviews seem to be good so I have a couple questions for those of you that have used the Voyager.
1. Is the Voyager a better choice than the Glyde?
2. What is the cheapest price through Verizon?
3. What extra charges or programs will I have to subscribe to so that the Voyager works at the fullest potential... like V-Cast? or the GPS service or anything else you can tell me.
You can email me directly if you like and I would appreciate all information you can give me to help me make this decision.
Thanks...

I got one when they first came out, and i am getting ready to break my contract and get a iphone3g.as far as price, I know you you have to get the $15.00 data package, then the $9.99 vznavigator package and I don't think that will allow you to use the tv feature.I have been playing around with the mobile web feature which is supposed to be one of the highlighted features of this phone and,you open a page only to see a quarter of the screen. when you try to use the touch screen to navigate you always click on a link by mistake. pages seem to load extremely slow. I went and checked out the old Iphone and the web browser was awesome. seen the whole page then zoomed in to read it, was very impressed with the whole phone.one more thing that drives...

Dude, your crazy. The speakers are inside. You have to open the phone for speaker phone. Try setting your phone to auto lock, or just lock the phone before you put it in your pocket. Yeah, surfing the net could be better. I think the only thing needed is flash. Try adjusting the sensitivity on your phone so you don't accidently hit links. If you want everything on your phone, i.e. VZnav, unlimited data, unlimited messaging, TV, you need to get the Premium plan. I think it's like $20-$25 more (don't kill me if I'm wrong on the price. I don't work for verizon). Overall it's a cool phone. It really depends on what your looking for. If you want the freedom to put different programs on your phone, then go with a PDA phone (HTC touch)....

yeah speakers on inside so you have to open it to use the that feature. I have it set to auotlock but when you send a text you have to wait till the message says that it was sent before you close the phone and put it in your pocket yeah some people would say that's not that big of a deal but they have replaced My phone twice because of the problem (firmware vx10kv07). looks like you would pay 39.99 for 450 min in the basic plan plus 25 bucks for the V Cast Mobile TV package, which would give you the unlimited data and TV, and then 9.99 for the Vznavigator. The premium plan is 79.99 450 min which is just a little more. with the iphone only costing 200 for the 8gb you would have to be crazy to spend to buy the voyager. All I'm saying is that Deb...

Do not buy the Glyde. While the Voyager shows all youtube videos on the m.youtube.com site, the Glyde will not show it.

Do not buy the iphone as the last firmware upgrade greatly improved the browser. You can now scroll before a page is fully loaded which speeds up browsing And zooming in and out is quick and easy.

And who wants to pay $85 for a battery change and lose your phone for 3 days? Verizon phone service crushes Att.

Buy the Voyager. I sold my Iphone after 3 months just to buy the Voyager and I have no regrets....did I mention full qwerty keyboard and mobile tv?

yeah go get an iphone, hey send me a picture from it when you get it....oh thats right it does not have mms 🤣 And by the way when you checked it out in the store it was running on wifi not at&t network so i hope you have free wifi every where you need it, to load espn website took me 3 minutes on at&t network with iphone. The iphonee plan is $30 and atleaste verizon gives you the option to opt out of data features you don't need...Iphone forces you to pay $30. You are also complaining about having to buy a memory card, ok waite till you have to pay $115 to have your battery replaced in your iphone and good luck getting insurance to cover your device. As far as the memory goes just remember it is removable so if you need your phone warran...

What he said.

Deal with AT&T and get what you richly deserve. I'd take a tin can over AT&T.

Now, when verizon can get their hands on the iphone and do it right, give me a call.

Voyager will do until the iphone is available on verizon. At&T is not worth messing with. But make no mistake, the voyager is no iphone. I like it OK. but if the iphone were available on verizon, I'd dump voyager in a minute.

i would suggest waiting and getting the dare, you will be able to get it at the end of the month and will still be in your 30 day return policy. If you are wanting a keyboard then go ahead and get the voyager,

data pricing options
vcast $15 (internet/video/music store)

navigator $9.99 (kicks ass!)

tv $10 on top of vcast( pretty cool if you use it, i took mine off)

Mobile email $5(this saves you from logging into your email from the internet browser and sends you alerts when new mail arrives)

If you are going to ad all this you need to check out the premium plans, especially if you text a lot(they include unlimited messaging)
