I am going to get a Voyager at the end of the month. What service do I need to take advantage of the most features of this phone? Any thoughts on which is most cost effective?

If you have Verizon already you will have to change to a NATIONWIDE plan. Only difference on this plan is how you are charged data. 1.99/MB ..
To take full advantage of the phone and its features I recommend that you add Vcast or get on a Premium Plan

I definitely recommend the premium plan. I have it and absolutely love it. $79.99 for unlimited everything (data, email, navigator, internet, vcast, in network calling, txt/pix/flix messaging) and 450 daytime minutes.
