Echo on other end?

for the last 3 weeks, i've been told that the person on the other line has an echo. at first i thought it may be the tower i was on near my house. but since its been brought to my attention, people on the other end still complain of hearing themselves in an echo when i call from my voyager. is anyone else having this problem? unfortunately i did get the flash update but am unable to recall if i was first told about this before or after. so i don't know if the flash did it, or if it already had the issue. please let me know

I just got the flash update and I am also having the same problem. But the complaints about the echo started before I got the update so I dont think that is the problem. The people that complain to me say it goes away after the first few minutes. Not sure what is causing this.

me either, but after personalizing it again form the flash update, i really don't want to have to do it all over again.. if it does it with the next one, i dunno what phone i want instead. i really like it aside from like 2 complaints i have with it.. that an not all my pics are saved on my card. :\

I'll tell you the truth, I don't hear anyone say that they hear an echo but I always hear myself talking to my gf (who I talk to most) so I don't know... might be something to it. It started after doing the software update so I don't know. It also sounds muffled sometimes. Don't know what's up.

if u have a silicone cover, try taking it off. i tested it several times during a single call & the person on the other end consistantly had an echo with the cover on & didn't when i took it off. i haven't had a problem since...good luck.

just a guess. i had read an early "echo complaint" & the person had just bought a silicon cover & installed a new card. i too, had just bought the silicon cover, so i thought it was worth a shot. turned out it was. did it fix your problem?
