Instant Messenger (AIM) Voyager vs. Sidekick

Does the Voyager's AIM measure up to Sidekicks'? Instead of having a verizon phone and a sidekick I would like to have it all in one. Is the Voyager the right device?

Not even close. Voyager uses a Mobile IM app that's not even worth using. It's the only flaw that I've found with my Voyager
