LG Voyager VX-10000
Help with Wallpaper
Just use any image program that allows you to trim the dimensions. External wallpapers are 240w by 400h. Switch those dimensions for the internal (400w by 240h).
Hope this helps.
install and open the program, take whatever picture you want to use from your computer and crop it (if the program has the tool) and then resize it. save it to your memory card (if you have one) or e-mail it to yourself by attaching the picture to an e-mail that you send to your phone (xxxxxxxxxx@vzwpix.com the x's = your phone number with area code).
Hope this helps.
Yeah, I decided before I got the Voyager that if it didn't live up to my hopes that I would go with the Pearl (8130 I think?).
But I ended up being very impressed with the Voyager.. only a couple of small quibbles.
The blackberry is a good option though. I just like the autofocus, stereo speakers, and full keyboard on the Voyager.
I'm kinda afraid of SureType. LOL
Anyway, if you need any other help, feel free to ask. It's pretty easy to get ringers on the Voyager as well. I've written it out a few times to other users if you just wanna scroll the forum.
Enjoy.

What issue are you having with the wallpapers? Maybe I can help again...
If so, you can just crop/resize the pics to the dimensions. If not, you can call them and they should refund it for you. From what I hear (never done it myself) they're pretty good about giving refunds when they don't specify if it's a compatible download.
As for the e-mail, even though it came through as an attachment, did it allow you to download it as a normal image and set it as a wallpaper? If you'd like, I can e-mail you a sample picture (or post a link to a hosted image if e-mail is too personal) and you can try it that way.
Also, if you have access to a memory card, you ...

(Just in case, this IS NOT my personal art. I downloaded this from an artist on DeviantArt.com. I don't remember the artist, but it's not ME.)
Go ahead and get access to your card and copy that image to your my_pix folder. Put it back in the phone and go go My Pictures. It should show up. Set it as the external wallpaper and see how it looks.
Oh, and I've been assuming that you know that setting the same wallpaper for both screens.. one of them is going to look incorrect because of the total opposite resolutions.. just figured I'd mention this. I create t...

Thank you again. I have external wallpapers now, but I can't get the inside one to fill up the screen. You have been a HUGE help and are awesome, bro.

Uhm.. well, I can post one of those too.

I figured that this one would be universally loved... not everyone's bag though. But if you like I can try to further explain the steps on how to get on your way with making them yourself. Then you can have some truly custom content.
You might notice that the inside image has a small black bar and then has the menu bar (if you have it configured that way... I don't have the clock on the inside). As far as I can tell, this can't be changed. The internal wallpaper will always have the menu and that small black bar.
Have a good one. I'm out the door again.
