NEXTEL SIM in Touch phone?

can i get a touch either cdma or unlocked gsm and put a anextel sim into it ? would it work? thanks dan

Unfortunately, it is not possible to put your Nextel SIM card into anything other than a iDEN device. A GSM handset may read the contacts from the card, but it most certainly will not allow you to place any calls. If the contacts are your concern, a Sprint store might be able to help extract them from the Nextel handset.

And even if you where able to, you would be paying some hefty roam fees to att and tm.
