I was able to download ringers from 3gforfree.com and they sent me a text with the ringer which I downloaded and then the phone gave me the option to save it but when I did it gave an error. Does anybody know how to or where to download ringtones and how to assign them to the touch?

The other issue I have been having is when using Opera Mini the screen will often freeze. Does anyone else have that issue?

Additionally the interface runs very slow and often will freeze. Sometimes the phone will go into standby and then will not turn back on unless I do a soft reset.

Also how do I play videos? I transfered a Windows Media File to my Memory Card and then when I tried to play it on my phone it gave a error. Is the only way to get video'...

As far as the ringers go i wouldnt download stuff from 3g4free...its puts viruses in your phone...if you put music from your computer into your phone or on the SD card you can use those songs as your ringers.

as far as the phone freezing...in old versions of windows mobile even if you closed programs they would still be running in the background and you would have to open the task manager to close them but on WM 6.0 it gives you the option to where you can completly close all programs just by clicking the X.

and about the videos i cant help there i have no idea on that sorry.

hope i helped some

...man instead of 3GforFree.com

go to:

www.myxer.com

just verify your phone, then start searching and downloading. Its all MP3 quality songs, and if you create an online Myxer.com account on your PC you can customize the song length to play whatever part of the song you wish! I'll check into the phone freezing up. Normally you need to place the videos under My Documents, go to the Media Player and click Menu, Options, Update Library then search your library for the vid. Hope this helps, lemme know what you think of that website! 😉

go to http://www.dbringers.info/?src=su

choose a ringtone you want and instead of sending it to your phone via putting in your phone numbers, just download it to your computer by clicking "Save ringer to your computer". The file wil be m4a and nonreadable but dont worry it'll work on the Touch. Find the file to where you downloaded it to. Then Go to your Touch folder that activates when you put it in ActivSync through the USB and just drag and drop the ringtone into "My Ringtones Folder" then there you go, when you choose a ringtone, you'll see it there.

Ooooor, instead on Synching things left and right, you can download it onto your phone, then go to Start >>> Programs >>> File Explorer >>> My Documents. Then look for the file you just downloaded. Copy and paste it onto "My Ringtones" Its alot easier doing it from the phone than having to connect it to a computer every single time 🙄
