Tried installing 2 gig micro chip. Upon installation, could not open contacts and received 2 error messages upon reset.
Went to sprint store installed another 2 gig card same result.
No one knew what to do.
GREAT PHONE other than that.
Can someone help?

...yeah they do. It sucks, but thats why a simple download will fix that! So you have MMS just like normal. Sending pix to phone numbers instead of e-mail 😉

"Download MMS PicMail simple install .zip with .cab inside"
The phone should automatically soft reset itself, after that man you got REAL MMS! 😉

OK I'm lame, I could not get the above .cab to install. Step by step for the impaired like myself please.
Other than no MMS & no GPS the phone is Fabulous. Be care which services you sign up for.

you unzip the file.....put the .cab file on your phone.....and open it... it should say installing.....and then the next time you go to your pictures you can go to options, send with MMS.
the only problem i ran into was: after I installed the .cab file it wouldnt download. But I found out I had to restart the phone before I could install the cab.
Other then that its working.. the phone sends and recieves pictures.

I have downloaded it on my touch.. but,, i dont know if it is just me but it seems messaging seems to react very slowly now. is that normally what is suppose to happen or do you think there is a problem.
Also, under the MMS it says user@user.com.
is there any way to change that?

you dont need to change anything.... user@user.com doesnt need to be changed. I have the htc touch and it sends pictures and recieves them. It takes maybeeeee 30 seconds to send...its because its multimedia...not just a text message. its normal
