Question on Activesync & Outlook
Hi - so it seems that in order to sync this phone up with my computer, I need to have Outlook? So my question is, should I buy that, or are there other programs that you can use instead of Outlook that would be just as good if not better, and would allow me to sync up with my PC?
Wow, coming from an LG VX8100, this is rocket science! 😳 It is very cool tho and I'm sure I will love it even more when I get used to using it. Looks like it's gonna take awhile tho.... 😲

Anyone know of any good programs that would sync my Calendar/to do list/contacts, etc. with my computer like the Palm Desktop does? I'm trying to decide whether I want to either send it back or buy Outlook.
Anyone know what the "Wireless Sync" thing Verizon has is?

Wireless Sync is a good program that Verizon offers if your mail is not stored on a Microsoft Exchange server. This would usually be corporate email. The only drawback to Wireless Sync is that it has to be running on your computer to keep your phone up to date. In other words when you log off or shut down your computer wireless sync will stop updating your phone. If you don't mind leaving your PC logged in and locked if you wish then it is pretty powerful and will sync Calendar, Contacts, and email.
You will need Outlook to sync more than mail. They used to give you a stripped down version of Outlook with Pocket PC devices but I haven't ordered one of these yet so I don't know what comes on the disk.
