Getting Mp3's into the phones music player using bluetooth?

Hey all,

i have been a spectator on these forums for a while now and after reading many greats threads i bought the 8700.

i have a mac and i have been playing around with the expanded bluetooth features of this phone and have been able to send pictures back and forth along with video and music, however when i want to send songs to my phone there is only a "my sounds" folder... there is no "my music" folder available to put stuff in..

this becomes a problem because in my sounds you dont get the playlist and other cool functions you get with the music player, it just plays the sound and thats it.

does anyone have any clue as to how to get the music into the specified music area of the phone, without having to by verizons stupid mu...

According to VZW, mp3's are not recognized on this phone. They have to by changed to wma format.

no MP3's are fully supported by the phone... i have a whole bunch on it now and i can listen to them, its just i can only do so in the my sounds folder i cant figure out how to get them ovet to the my music folder

That's funny. I downloaded a ringtone in mp3 format and it was not recognized. I called VZW and they told me the the format was wma.
