Pouch No Longer Available??
I just came from my VZW store, I went to check out this phone as well as the Maxx. I must say the 8700 is WAY better.
Anyway, the rep told me that the nifty pouch no longer comes with this phone. Is that true, because I was really counting on the fact that it would.
Also, the clip and leather case are ugly and unusable. The charging door looks weak, has anyone broke theirs yet?
All I know is that this is the best phone I've seen in a while and I'm going to buy it right now! VZ screwed up when I upgraded w/ NE2 in Nov. and it says on-line that I can upgrade again! They won't catch this will they?

Yes they will catch it. Vision will nail you to the wall once they look at your account.
This was just an oversight and any good rep will see it and have to charge you what you need to pay.

Yes but I am going to upgrade online, so isn't everything handled by computers until the phone is sent out?

No I don't think everything is handled by computers. I think someone receives those orders and check system dates and all that good stuff. But then again you may just get away with it.

even if you try to process it online it will not go through..i have seen it many times..my account does not update 100% of the time for phone upgrades..it is not all handled by computers..someone actually looks at the account to make sure of eligibility..and yes the phone still comes with the pouch
