Hello, Im really interested in this phone, but i want to know a little more about it before I invest. First, is it worth the money? How is the front screne? Im not used to one that small, is still ok? Does it tell you that you ahve a text or voice mail on the front screen when you do, or do you have to oepn it up to find out? Thanks for the help! 🙂

Oh and also, I have a car charger for an LG 5300, would that fit the 8700 you think?

Your charger will probably not work. I had the VX800 which was compatible with my wife's 8100. However, I have to buy a new one for my 8700. I am waiting to get one from a company online so I don't have to pay Verizon so much.
