Yes, it has a bright white backlight.

Here is a link to another forum where I posted pictures. It shows the backlight pretty well.

I want this phone sooooooooooooooo BAD! I can't contain myself any longer. I cant upgrade till March so I have to buy it outright should I buy it from Verizon or another website?
