For those of you that are interested in this phone, don't be turned away by the various complaints that are being made on this forum.

I have had the phone for six days now and I have absolutely no complaints. Battery life, call quality, signal strength, camera quality, appearance, etc. - all solid!

For me, things like font size and volume controls being available when the phone is closed are not selling points for a phone. I want a phone that works best at what it is designed to be! And this phone does.

Obviously, as is with any phone, there will be defective units. I have had phones in the past that I have had to exchange. Things happen. Thats what warranties are for. But this phone is a great phone!

Don't be swayed by the n...

I am glad that you will settle for a buggy type phone. After spending this much money, I desire mine to be perfect as advertised. I am glad your phone is acceptable. That continues to be the problem with the United States, we throw a product out there, some features work, some do not, and then the manufacturer worries about fixing the bugs the next time around. I am not going to show disrespect for this lady. I am very glad hers is working. I love this phone myself, I will not disagree with her on that. I just paid VzW full boat price, and I WILL have a perfect one no matter how many times I return it to VzW. They say they will stand behind their product, we shall see. I suggested to VzW to pull the plug on this wonderful phone UNTIL...

Is there really a need to start a conspiracy theory about why VZW made the phone an online exclusive? What would be the point of selling it at all if they honestly thought that they'd probably be replacing all the original units sold anyways? I imagine that it is not in their best interest to sell a supposed "bad" phone.

I have not settled for a "buggy" phone. Just because something doesn't have every feature you expect it to does not make a phone "buggy."

People are complaining about the fact that the volume buttons don't allow someone to change the volume when the phone is closed. That is not a "bug!" That is someone complaining because a feature they are used to isn't available on this phone. I personally LOVE the fact that the only...

I respect your opinion. I will have mine replaced and then will further see. My phone overheats after 5 minutes of usage, the FONTS have a menu option to change, and they don't, and the lady that lives in my phone is supposed to be loud and clear, and LG admits with my particular phone, she does not. I have always had a good LG product, now this one supposingly to be the best to date (and I agree, it is) unfortunately is not this first time around, and for several others... we shall see. I will say one thing though, I will always stand firm that VzW even though they can be expensive, does provide the best network. I have YET to have on call drop. Been lucky I guess.
