Question
Can somebody please tell me why, whenever I see a phone on here that is "coming soon" to verizon, sprint, tmobile, etc...It comes out within a month. But anytime I see a phone that is "coming soon" to cingular, not only do I never see this phone, but they seem to release a cheaper crappier version? Is Cingular/AT&T just trying to see how far behind they can fall before verizon buys alltel?

True, Cingular does delay the heck out of phones, but it's not like they're doing that just to develop a cheaper version.

Here is just one example off the top of my head: Nokia E62 vs. E61. They traded WiFi for a mini-USB port and a headphone jack.
