I noticed in the specs that the Dash isn't supposed to have Flight mode, is that a mistake?

I'm sure it is. If this phone is like all WM5 divices then when you go into the Comm Manager, you have the option of turning off incoming and outgoing calls without turning off the phone! Get it?

Not that flight mode matters. Ever try to explain it to a stewardess? They get pissed and tell you to turn the damn phone off...

Flight mode means nothing anyway. If the interference from one phone can cause problems with the plane, then think about what happens when a dozen people like me who never turn on flight mode are on a plane. CRRRRAASSSSHHHH!!! Doesn't happen... Only reason they tell you you can't use your phone a plane (yeah some people with Verizon actually get service) is because think how annoying it is hearing someone talk on their phone in a restaurant, and then remember you're trapped in a metal cylinder 36000 feet up. So yeah the dash has a "flight mode" but I'll never use it.

ur wrong, actually it has nothing to do with crashing the plane, but your right it is annoying to people to listen to you talk, ESPECIALLY THE PILOT, thats who hears your conversation. Plans you very heavy radar and means of communications that pick up your cell phone signal very easy and they hear whats going on, that could actually make you crash if they needed up on the other end
