I was hoping someone could help me…. I have a question about the Dash. I currently have the Blackjack II, I am frustrated when sending text messages to multiple contacts because after selecting the first person the phone book takes you back to the very top of your contact list vs. being able to add more people from where you left off, like the Blackberry and others do. Can someone tell me if the Dash is like this?
Does anybody about 3rd party apps that would allow dash users to buy and download music files to the phone. Also, does anybody know if I can transfer a micro sd card from a htc touch (from Sprint), and put it in a new dash? Will the dash read the micro sd card, or will it error, since it was from another phone. Any help will be appriciated.
Hey everyone. I have been a loyal fan of the dash for a long time (I am also a T-Mobile rep). Sadly though, yesterday my phone crashed on me. It keeps on power cycling on start up. Gets to the windows mobile screen and then restarts everytime. I tried everything and nothing has got it working again. So, Im now in the market for a new phone.
The problem though is, I need to have Internet Sharing as a feature on my phone. I am at work and do not have the access to a search engine to find such phones.
Theres a lot of phones out there I like and would get but again as I said, I need the feature (App?) Internet Sharing (which the Dash has). What Internet Sharing allows me to do is use my phone as a modem for my laptop. I connect via blueto... (continues)
You guys can do some things to this dash to make it fun despite the crap for memory and buggy tmobile branded windows rom.

I don't have broadband in my area but use my Dash connected to my laptop for a marginally fast Internet connection. My question is, "Is there a way to connect my Dash to a wireless router and then be able to use the connection on other comps(or my PS3) in the house?" What cables should I use and will a router initialize/recognize my T-mob internet connection.
Havn't physically tried this yet and thought that someone else may have and could enlighten me. Thanks for any input. Michael
Hey guys, I am trying to download the new Windows Mobile 6.1 but can't find a link. The link I found is to download it to my PC and only with Microsoft Vista. Does anyone know how I can get it on my mobile device (not pre-installed) I tried to do a manual update, visit the microsoft site but can't find the download anywhere. Thanks for any help!
🤨 Hey Guys? I was thinking about trading in my POS sidekick for a dash. I have seen that the WM5 is more trouble than its worth. Does anybody know if the newer ones have WM6? Also, how are the 3rd party apps?
Has anyone found a good cell phone case for the Dash? I just ordered a Krussell but I'm not really liking that the keyboard is covered as well. I'd rather have it open since the keys are so small. But the clip is low profile on the Krussell which is nice. Anyhow. Just wondering if anyone was happy with a case for their Dash.
Some ppl are having trouble editing or creating word, excel documents on the DASH. You can do it!
To create a new document 1.Send yourself an email with a blank word or excel document as an attachment. 2. When you open the email, download and save the attachment (blank document) to your phone in section titled "MY DOCUMENTS" 3. When you need to create a new WORD or EXCEL file, just go to FILE EXPLORER and choose the document you want (word or excel) 4. Create your new document
To EDIT a WORD/EXCEL document from DASH
1. Send the document to yourself through email as an attachment 2. Save the attachment to your phone 3. Go to FILE EXPLORER 4. Open the document you just saved and click "MENU" 5. Click view or edit to make cha... (continues)
Hey does anyone know how to change the ringtone on the dash? Everytime someone who isnt in my contact list calls, the ringtone I want plays. But for everyone in my contact list the default tmobile ringtone plays. I read the manual and it doesn't address this problem.
