HTC Dash / S620 / S621 (Excalibur)

I wrote this for the Q, but the instructions are the same for the Dash.


IMPORTANT NOTES:
All of the ROMS when you download the RAR file will not fit on your phone. You will need to install them on your memory card if you want all of them on your phone. I just picked like 10 games I liked to play.
IT IS ILLEGAL TO KEEP ROMS ON YOUR COMPUTER THAT YOU NEVER BOUGHT WHEN YOU HAD A NES! I am not responsible for you downloading and playing games illegally. That’s why I am providing this info as educational ONLY! =)


1. Make a folder on your desktop called Q Docs
2. Inside Q Docs make a folder called ROMS and make a folder on your DESKTOP called ALL ROMS.

1- Does it have a Headphone plug to basically use it as a mp3 player (if i purchase a bigger SD card somenthing like 2gigs to store a ton of music)

2- Can you use this phone w/out having the fav 5 plan or basically use the fav 5 interface to call my top calls but with my normal phone plan using my minutes or any way i have it setup?

Is there a way of creating groups with this phone so you don't have to individually insert every one of the recipients of your email or text message?

if i use the wifi on my dash... would i be charged??
i have the myfaves 600 and the unlimited text message

what should or what must i do to use the wifi without being charged

MyFaves limits the length of the phone number to 16 digits.

I want to use a calling card with MyFaves but don't want to have to manually enter the extra digits each time.

Is there a hack whereby I can increase the number of digits in MyFaves?

Alternately, is there any add-on application that will dial the extra 30 or so digits after MyFaves calls the local access number?

The phone has 45MB; not 23MB, as stated in the info section.

Just purchased an unlocked Dash running WM 5. There were no problems setting up the internet service or email. I upgraded to WM 6, and now cannot get my pop3 accounts to work. I receive an error message - Error synchronizing." Also a message saying that my internet is not set up correctly. However, the internet works fine. Any ideas??? Is there a link to download WM 5? Wouldn't mind going back.

Ok, heres the skinny, i've downloaded the WM6.0 from a torrent source to my laptop. But this is where it gets pretty weird. I feel insecure in installing this pirate software!!!

Here are my questions:
-If i install it on my DASH will evething work allright ???
-Will it erase all my contacts upon install???
-Will it ask for some sort of cd key in order to continue with the instalation process ???
-HOW THE HELL DO i SYNC MY CONTACTS ON THE PHONE TO THE PC WITH MICROSOFT ACTIVESYNC 4.5 ????

I have been searching for a light QWERTY smartphone with MS exchange capabilities and the HTC Dash looks awesome. I have been to the T-mobile store and played with it. It is easily the best compromise of light and full-function around. Totally pocket-able and very nice in the hand.......

BUT, I can't seem to get comfortable switching from Verizon (Perfect coverage and service...boring phones later than everyone else) to T-Mobile.

What I hear is: spotty coverage and slow data (also best pricing)

Can anyone offer me an opinion? Thanks.

I'm having my SDA replaced for a new Dash, and I was just wondering if the bluetooth on the Dash was capable of playing audio through a bluetooth headset. The SDA needed a special program to run music through a headset and I was hoping the Dash came equipped with whatever's needed to listen to bluetooth audio.

With my past two phones that i have had i have been having an issue with my alarm were it would go off if i were to change the time on the alarm..

ex - i would set up alarm to go off at 6 AM and the alarm will go off at 6 AM.. i then change the alarm to go off at 9 AM and it will go off at both times 6 AM and 9 AM.. the problem still consist with both windows versions and will like to know if there is a fix or if it is happening to anybody else..??

does anyone know any hacks or anything to use the dash for surfing the web on a mac? i have the markspace program but i just got it and the dash so i gotta wait for the WM6 update but does anyone have any information that can help me?

Wow the dash is still garbage. WiFi woopidy doo. Whats the point.

Windows mobile has to be the biggest peice of junk software known to man...that and the verizon wireless UI that all there phones have.

The best part about dash is when you hit the end button 10 times and you still cant end the call, or how about when it freezes. Oh wait how about to close internet explorer you have go through task manager.

pretty cool huh....thank god for nokias. I wish all phones were s40 and s60

ok im planning to buy the dash and i wanted to know can is it easy to transfer ringtones to this phone via bluetooth or does tmobile have a block on this phone also...
