Guys i had this phone i thought it was gonna be the best.

I was hugelly disapointed, VERY SLOW response!!! Error nmessages non stop like Clocknot.exe...and so on, And its a fact that everyone gets them and theres no fix, Phone would of been great if it was a Nokia S60 OS on it instead of windows mobile 5.

no out of the box.....comm.exe clocknot.exe..etc........happens before and after 3rd party software. Everyone has these errors unless they recentlly fixed it

Facade was garbage. Dont get me wrong i think it is a good phone but any nokia with s60 is a better choice. Its just the Windows mobile that makes it bad in my eyes. There are no good 3rd party softwares out there.

there are tons of good 3rd party apps you just need to know where to look. I might be a mda user but they use simular apps and i see both versions avaiable! stop dissing the phone, get over it, see it on ebay or something.

Name me 2 good peices of software that you can get for free you Loser!!! Currency converters and Clone tetris dont count!!! I hope thats not what u meant because i might as well start laughing now.

I pay $6 for tzones and can access ANY website!!!!!!! through opera browser!!!

I am using a Nokia E50 which is so much better and can do more, but i also am waiting to get a Nokia E61i.

The only good thing about the Dash is if its from tmobile they will upgrade you to Mobile 6 for free!! And maybe just maybe things will be better especially the Java which on the dash now is almost non existanat.

I love the dash as a phone but the windows mobile limits it....oh and explorer cant access any wap sites!

To all, who might stumble upon this thread:

Having an open source OS such as Windows on your phone guarantees you that you'll get tons of applications from all kinds of developers for it. Some free and some not; some junk and some jewels. I'm happy to report to all interested that i was able to find with no problem wonderful free media players for my Dash, that can play every conceivable standard, including divx, thus i can fit 5 full length movies on a 1GB card and watch them on a natural size 320/240 screen. I was able to install a GPS software from Garmin and use my phone for visual and voice-guided navigation (bluetooth GPS receiver comes with the software). The package costs $150 and saves me a bunch of cash and the need to drag anot...

I couldn't agree more. I have no idea what these phantom error messages are that the OP keeps ranting about, but I have never seen one.

Comm.exe Clocknot.exe errors....many people get these errors. And NO Windows Mobile 5 OS is not highly customizable...atleast compared to S^) on NOKIAS. Like I said many times the phone is Nice but the OS is garbage.

If i was gonna choose between a Nokia E61i or a Dash I choose the Nokia E61i..BUT if the Dash had the same OS i would choose the DASH but it doesnt so i dont thats why i sold mine a few weeks after release.....But the one plus is that the Tmobile version will give free upgrade to Windows Mobile 6.
