so whats the cheapest price they will offer in store? i see in the forums that someone is saying it will be $250-$50 MIR = $200. So if true, is the best we can do is $200-$100 = $100? Or are there other promotions which will get the phone basically free??? Or should I wait a few months for some holiday special?

I would guess that $100 is the best you will do if you buy it right away, cash in your NE2, and renew your 2-year contract. That is a decent price for a newly-released "fashion phone". However, prices always come down pretty fast, so I bet it will be cheaper by December/holiday season.

You'll never get a phone like this for "basically free".

That's not true at all. The RAZR V3m is a "phone like this", and you can now get it for free on Amazon (or from VZW if you use NE2). You won't get a "phone like this" for cheap right when it comes out, but wait just a few months, and the deals will be out there.

I was told that you don't get the mail in rebate along with the NE2...so that would make the phone 250-100=150...right??

Wrong! Mail in rebate has nothing to do with NE2. If you have NE2 net cost will be 100.
