Need help using BitPim with Bluetooth
Thru BitPim can not transfer mp3 (176kb) to my phone.
I used Bluetooth method. Should I be using a adapter?
I hear, apparently this is the best method to transfer mp3 to phone to make ringtones work...

You have to double check that you have the ringtones you made with Bitpim in the right folder. I have botched that a few times. Should be no problem. I was having an issue with the serial connection not showing up from my LG 5300 a while ago. Then when I was on the phone with VZ, it showed up. Not for any reason that I can think of. I am thinking of getting this phone soon. 176kb is a big file for a Mp3 ringtone using bitpim. Did you cut down to 30 seconds or less?
As for the folders to put the ringtones in, there are two with the little Note symbols. Use the one that says Ringers and not MP3. Hope it works for you.
