Motorola V195 / V197

I was considering going to the T-Mobile store tomorrow to get the v195 to replace my Nokia 3220. I was wondering, however, what the price of the phone with a one-year service contract was. I have read on some sites that it's $40, but that dosen't sound right considering that T-Mobile charges $40 for the phone with a 2-year. Can anyone clear things up for me?

Dear T-mobile:

Please release this phone soon. Otherwise you'll force me to switch to Cingular for the V190.

I hate to play hardball like this with you, but you leave me no choice.

I've read on a few random sites that this phone will also be available for Cingular. Can anyone confirm this or provide more details? If so, is there an estimated release date and will it be the silver version if T-Mobile is getting the blue one?

Excellent T-Mobile getting this phone. Best of the V100 series.
