Anyone still out there??

Hey! Super curious. I haven’t seen a old forum in a while.
Kinda historical right?
I was in 6th grade in year 2005-06 when I got this phone. I was one of the first kids in my class to have a phone.
Just recently I was thinking of a new tone to set as my alarm; when an memory came to me of an weird rock song that came stock from this phones ringtone library. Of ourse when I was a younger lol

Anywho, that’s my life story.
Anyone still out there clinging on to their emails that is tied here?
Hmmmmmm, 🤔
I wonder if some of yah oldies still have dialup, AOL inbox, and overdue blockbuster movies!
Speaking of that, can someone help me out rebooting my limewire? That **** been stuck in its last rip for about 4 hours now 😕

How to connect a computer for dial up internet

Hi,

I want to use Motorola C290 to connect to my computer for dialup internet. I know I need a cable to link both phone and computer. What kind of cable do I need to buy, then, how can I use the computer to dialup to my internet service provider?

Can someone help me? Thanks very much.

Sanyo vs. Motorola

I think if Motorola starts makin phones with more advanced features like the Vxxx series and the ones ive seen for Verizon and incorporate them with ptt they may give Sanyo some competition. But i know that this wont happen overnight but it could in the long run. Just a thought...

Welcome Back Moto

Motorola is back into Sprint, a step in the right direction. Now if only Sprint can get people who speak fluent english back in their customer service center 🤣

Sprint

🤣 Figures...ugly as all the other phones Sprint carries...they really need to pick the pace on phones and service.

Motorola C290

Eventhough the Motorola C290 is a low-end phone, I think it needs an external display and a camera.

Other carriers have low-end range camera phones, and I do like this phone by Motorola, so I would like to see these features on this line of phones.

I don't care about having any other bells and whistles like, an mp3 player, radio, etc...just an external display and camera.

I do like this phone and manufacturer though.
