Size aside, how does this thing stack up against the upcoming Motorola Q?

They seem fairly similar, and I expect they will both cost a permium at first.

Most importantly, does anyone have any ideas what bluetooh profiles each phone will be released with?

Can you clarify? I have another smart phone and I am not sure what that is missing. Is the Treo technically a Mobile PC?

Can you point to where it explains the difference between a mobile PC and a Window Mobile smartphone? I know Treo has a touchscreen and stylus, but is there much else that is different in everyday use?

Nope, not much difference, but a touch screen vs. no touch screen is no small difference.

You are right. I guess it's thin vs. easier to use. I have to confess that slipping a RAZR into my breast pocket has worked really well for me. I think the Treo may be too bulky for that compared to the Q. It is an interesting trade-off to contemplate...

If you had a GSM phones you could just swap the sim between the razr and the treo. What a great technology!

I was under the impression that with windows mobile 5.0 there was no distiction between Smartphones and PocketPCs. Am I totally off base?

More importantly as it is a phone, go with treo, Verizon has a better network. Unless you're making blue tooth phone calls.

I stand corrected. But I do have to say, there's just something I like about a full size SD card instead of the mini one. 😕

Verizon has a better network? For voice. Maybe. You keep watching those commercials and drinking that kool-aid. 🙄
