Bluetooth Connection

Does the 540 have the capability to connect to more than 1 Bluetooth device at a time? I am looking for a cell phone that will connect to my PDA as well as Bluetooth headset at the same time (for PDA dialer functions).
Thanks

Install Java application possible?

Hi,
Anyone know how to install Java application onto this phone? Did not find that option available in the Motorola Phone Tools V4 program.

TIA.

Storing Address Book entries on SIM

I need to store multiple phone numbers under the same name. When I try to save to the SIM card, this option doesn't seem to be available even though the manual seems to imply that it is. When I save the entry with multiple numbers to the SIM card, I get multiple entries in the address book. I do not have the option to set a primary number and display only that number. Saving to the "phone" works but that does not allow you to save your address book on the sim in case you have to replace the phone.

Any thoughts??

motorola v540 purchase difficulty

I'm trying to purchase a Motorola V540 phone. The cellular web site does not offer it, calling cellar is not much help, they advise me to purchase it from a store, yet I can't find it at any store. The Motorola web site lists only cellular, but purchase though stores that also don't carry the phone. Motorola will sell the phone through their call in center, but only locked. I need an unlocked phone for travel internationally. Would appreciate any advice, thanks

Certain Markets

I believe this phone is already available in certain markets. I think every phone camera should have a camera-less version of it, not everyone likes, or wants camera phones.

Interesting, I can order this from Cingular Premier

It shows on the Cingular Premier site for the DOJ, but not on the regular Cingular site. I guess DOJ employess are considered "business" customers. A few weeks ago, the DOJ Premier site was highlighting a camera phone sale for all DOJ employess, which is rather funny, considering we can't have cameras in the building.

answered prayers

as a cingular employee i get sooo many customers daily wishing there was a phone on the market with all the great features that the camera phones have just without the camera. This is truly a smart move by motorola and i think this is a great idea.

Business Phone

This is a business phone, right? I don't think it'd be available to the public. Am I right or wrong on this? I'm just saying what I read in CSP about 2 months ago.

It's about time!

It's about time carriers start offering decent, mid or high level phones WITHOUT cameras. Several corporations and government offices will not allow in the front door with a silly camera phone. Unfortunately, it's been difficult to get a decent phone that didn't have a camera.

It's about time.
