HW6515 GPS stopped working

Central Florida/Cingular. I went to Michigan couple weeks ago, used GPS going from Detroit to St. Clair. Worked fine with both MS Pocket Streets and DeLorme Street atlas. Got back home/Orlando area, changed the map file to a local map for both programs, downloaded the 'quick GPS connection updates'-about 80 bazillion times, GPS will not connect to any satellites, won't get a fix in either program. Tried soft re-boot and taking battery out/putting back in, etc. Any thoughts?? Jim

need replacement "flip cover"

😳 I have called HP with no help! I get Costa Rica call center and I can not understand them. The girl stated they do not sell parts for the 6515. So I called Palto Alto office. After 45 min on the phone I still could not get a replacement flip cover. This is the last HP product I will buy!

Anyone know where I can buy the flip cover for the 6515?

Voice Dial

I currently have a 5 year old HP iPac PDA. I love it 😁 However, it is old and clunky and I really want to down size the number of electronics I carry. So now is th time to get a PDA with a phone. Since I already use and understand the PDA options I am trying to understand the phone options.

Do this thing have voice dial? I love the ablity to call from my contacts list but for those 5 numbers I call constantly I need an easier way. Can you program a few numbers in a button?

Moto HT820 Bluetooth

headset works great with the 6515. These are stereo bluetooth and the sound is very nice. You can even control the volume, tracks and pause/play from the headset.

HP iPAQ - Problem Phone with Software Issues

I had the HP iPAQ Hwy 6510 for 30 days. It was absolutely the worse one I've ever experienced to date. Battery life with talk time is horrible. Phone has software conflicting issues. Cingular is the only one selling the phone at this time. T-Mobile took it off their shelves permanently due to HP's lack of consumer assistance and because the phone became a nightmare for T-Mobile. Cingular should remove HP from their inventory as well, for until HP remedies their overwhelming problems no one should buy this phone.

6515 ringtones/graphics

I am trying really hard to find places from which I can download different ring-tones, games, graphics, and or themes. Does anyone know any decent websites that I can go to? 😕

Thanks

Returning Today

As much as I hate to admit it, (and I am a gadget guy) this phone is just too much.

I would classify this phone as a Phone built around a PDA instead of a PDA built around a phone.

The keyboard is COMPLETLY un-necessary. I found that I can text faster on my 10 key V551 than I can with this phone. The fact that it is a QWERTY keyboard does not help because its all thumbs. The tiny keys are laid out so closely together that I spend more time pressing the backspace key than anything else.

The call history button is a soft key only. (unacceptable)

There is no "quick" way to store a phone number. IE: if someone gives me their phone number quickly I should be able to just type the number in and then go back to store it later... (un...
