i saw some threads talking about firmware what does this do for the phone and how much does it cost

firmware upgrade is free at any local true verizon wireless shop.
it fixes a number of errors in verison 1:
eg. Phone power cycling for no reason and many other bugs
and it adds play list function to your mp3 player

We can only hope and pray. That would make the phone sooo much better. Not that it isnt already a great phone but that would be the icing on the cake for me.

i totally agree why would they make a phone with so much mem. and higher resolution with 15 sec. capture. theres older much cheaper phones out there that do contious video. i love this phone so much but the fact that it dosent do continious video and accept a 2 gig mini sd is killer i want an updated version the 9900
