PTT

Why is t-mo picking up this phone when it has push to talk? will the feature just be disabled in a flash/flex or is t-mo rolling out ptt? i personally hope this comes out for cingular before t-mo like the razr as cingular's ptt network is almost ready to be rolled out. i'm in the cingular trendforce, and they said a lil while ago that it was ready to be rolled out in a month or so.

If anyone can give some more specific info, do it here

How good is the V360's camera? Reviews here say it isn't megapixel, just VGA. How clear/crisp/detailed are the pictures?

Custom profiles--Can you change backgrounds, menus, etc.?

Using Motorola PST with motorola v360?

has anyone been successful at getting motorola PST to work with the v360. when i try to get it to work with mine it gives me trouble since i have xp service pack 2 and it also tries to find 2 drivers one of which it cannont find. It looks for a motorola v360 device driver and no matter what driver i direct it to, it doesnt accept it as being a compatible driver. is there a motorola v360 device driver available to i can use PST with this phone?

Thanks in advance!

Edge?

I returned my v360 for a number of reasons outlined in a review and an earlier posting. One reason seemed to be that Edge really didn't work.

One thing I found of interest in another forum was a report that Motorola would not be producing any new phones with Edge this year because of problems with their chipsets, which is why the PEBL won't have Edge.

This makes me wonder if it is working correctly with the v360 (and the v330 for that matter). It would be nice if T-Mobile or Motorola revealed this information if it is true. My observation from using the v330 and v360 is that the connections did not seem much faster than GPRS but it is hard to really tell.

Can anyone shed any light on this?

Local File Access

I just bought a new V360 for my significant other. I bought it because I was so happy with my A780, and I thought that she could enjoy the same experience I had.

However, beside the usual frustrations with a new phone, I have found that it is a much more limited device.

In this particular case, the problem is access to local html files with the web browser. She does not have GPRS enabled with her carrier, but it is still often convenient to save files for later reading to the TF card. Unlike the A780, the V360 has no file manager per se.

So, my question is: Is there any way to access local files? Is there a web address for the TF card (ie. file://a:/ or file://diska/ or something similar)?

Personalized Ring Tones!

How do you set ringtones per individual person in the phonebook? 🙄

I've done it with other phones!!!

And I can't figure it out. Does it have anything to do with categories?

V360 for Cingular?

Does anyone know if/when this model, or variation of it, will be available from Cingular? I remember seeing something online several months ago saying the silver model would be released for Cingular. Recently though, I have not been able to find anymore information. Thanks for any input.

email attachments on v360??

Hey everyone!

Does anyone know if you can save attachments to emails to the memory card on the 360? I have t-mobile and would like to save word/excel docs either to the phone or memory card so I can then transfer to my pda if needed via bluetooth or sd..

thanks!

V330 Games/Apps on a V360?

It's not that important, but if the V360 is supposedly an upgrade of the V330, does that mean an app or game that says it's for the V330 will work on a V360?

Cuz on a lot of sites, I guess because it's a newer phone, I never even see an option for the V360.

Slow ur roll. v360 problem allready!!!!

For those of you that have the phone allready, do you notice that when you activate your bluetooth headset that your ringers automatically change? Rather, when the bluetooth headset is enabled it doesn't read any of your preset ringer Id's. It just defaults to the standard ringer. Is anybody noticing this? Please advise.

PTT?

Ok, so we all knew that PTT was an available function, but we (I, at least) figured that it would be disabled by T-Mobile. BUT this info from the T-Mobile website says different.
Classic looks combined with futuristic features: the Motorola V360 is a great all-around communication machine. Stay in touch at the press of a button with Push-To-Talk voice messaging, or let your fingers do the talking with AIM® and Yahoo!® instant messaging...
