PTT?

Ok, so we all knew that PTT was an available function, but we (I, at least) figured that it would be disabled by T-Mobile. BUT this info from the T-Mobile website says different.
Classic looks combined with futuristic features: the Motorola V360 is a great all-around communication machine. Stay in touch at the press of a button with Push-To-Talk voice messaging, or let your fingers do the talking with AIM® and Yahoo!® instant messaging...

The phone does have PTT, but T-Mobile disabled that feature. The brown OEM V360 has PTT on it, since its unbranded.

phone has ptt feature, it was turned off by t-mobile. If you hack the phone and able to turn on the feature you will see that it does have, however currently t-mobile is not supporting pttt.

It does. T-Mobile disabled it, and hid the menu. You will see that someone will hack it, and enable it. The phone has PTT as a standard feature even without T-Mobile's firmware. Its like when you enter special codes into the phone, certain hidden menus come up on the screen.

Ok, even if you enable PTT. T-mobile doesn't support PTT. So, wouldn't it be pointless? It IS gonna void your waranty if you do this. So, why do it>?

I was saying that it has the PTT feature but its disabled. Obviously if they disabled it, they don't support it.

Regardless if T-Mobile supports PTT there should be away to get it to work. I am currently investigating how and what settings I need in order to do this.

The reason T-Mobile doesn't have PTT is because there is not enough available bandwidth. If the phone is capable to do PTT then all you need is the gateway (settings) to connect the phone's PTT service to the network.

If anyone has any ideas on this let me know as I am testing my Nokia 6230i with some friends who also have T-Mobile and PTT phones.

Would be neat to play with once we figure it out.
