Motorola V635

when is it going to come to cingular..any info?

he said that they have heard of it, but they are not sure when they'll get it. Maybe next month he said, he is not sure. I am sure he knows, why all the secret? It's upsetting I tell ya, upsetting. 😡

At Cingular, we originally were under the belief that the phone was scheduled for an April 14th release.

That date was later pushed back and believed to be April 30th.

Now that the Motorola a630 has been officially cancelled for Cingular some are even doubting that it will EVER come out!

It's the v600 all over again. Any input Rich? Heard anything else?

😕 Im not sure if im the only one but im a little apprehensive about this phone. I own a v600 now and was lucky enough to get one after all the bugs and problems had been worked out. I like the v635 but i dont want to be one of the first people stuck with problems

Saw this online...it actually sounds pretty positive. A lot of people contributed their own reviews almost all of them are very positive. Who knows, i'm still skeptical of Motorola, but if I keep reading positive reviews I might give this one a shot.

Is there any reason to believe that the Motorola HS850 won't be compatible with this phone?

Does anybody know this site? Is it reliable to deal with?

This is directed toward the people who have the phone already. I MUST have this answered.

I used to own a V600. The MAIN reason I got rid of it was the face that its earpiece was horrible. I couldn't hear anything on it in a loud public or crowded place, and private places weren't that much better. Has that error been fixed with this phone? Or does it still have that problem? If it does, I'm already forgetting about it.

The other thing is how is the processor speed? The V600 was fair at best. It took forever to do simple operations, such as saving picture. How does this one behave?

I bought mine here for $429 and they overnighted it to me. It is the British version, but that doesn't mean it won't work, just that it comes with a British power adapter (they give you the converter). I highly recommend it.

Don't you love 850 MHz?

To all these people that claim that they have it. I read somewhere that pictures are always taken at 1.3mp, is this true? If that is the case, then what about picture/caller ID and if you have 100 entries, all the memory is gone!. I haven't found a site that explains the picture distribution or if there is a setting for Picture/caller ID pictures. Thanks

I have a RAZR and have been very disappointed. I came over to Cingular from Verizon where I had a V710. The thing I miss most from my 710 is the voice dial. The 710 didn't require me to store voice dials for each number it had real speech recognition. Amazingly, got a "hit" on my old phone more often than the new one.

I don't want to change phones until I know that I'll get this feature back.
