Palm Treo 650 (GSM)
Caller cannot hear me when I swap calls or when I swap back
This is driving me nuts. I have an unlocked Treo 650 and I am with Cingular. I have exchanged it already, but it does the same thing. 50% of the time when I swap to a call waiting environment, the caller cannot hear me, but I can hear them. When I switch back to my original caller, they can't hear me either. It is not muted. I have hit the mute and then unmuted. It is driving me nuts. I cannot be the only user to have this problem. HELP!!!

Best place to buy 650
Can anyone tell me where the best place (price) to buy a 650 is? I'm new to the smart phone world. I would also like to know what offers the best coverage and services. GSM or CDMA (Cingular or Verizon) Thank you. I have to take a decision by noon today. 😕

Treo650 and Cingular plans
I've been told you can get the Treo650 with the media net plan vs. paying for the 49 data plans. Can anyone validate this?
If its still offered with the Treo (Media net) is there any disadvantages? I read that only media net provides WAP type web access but it looked to be tied to the browser of the phone and the treo has a fully compatible html browser.

Newbie Question About Unlocked Treo
I'd appreciate it if someone could explain what the difference is between a locked vs unlocked Treo 650. Are Cingular dealers willing to unlock these phones? If so, at what price. Is it best to buy an unlocked phone from the Cingular retailer or on the internet?

Replacement Antenna
Does any one know where I can get ahold of a replacement antenna for the TREO 650 GSM. I have a customer who broke theirs and need to find one.
Versa Mail deleted accounts
I have accounts that I have deleted on versa mail from my handheld. Yet, it reflects as if I am still using those accounts although I'm not. I deleted off accounts that had been configured incorrectly, but it shows as if I'm using all of my email accounts on Versa Mail even though I'm only using two. Any suggestions? Versamail probrem Treo 650
I have a GSM Treo 650 and I cannot use my contact list to choose from to send emails.
I get the error message "501 Syntax Error uin recipient address".
The address displays in the "to" box as
"mike smith";
If I delete the "mike smith", the "" from the above so that it just says..
msmith@smith.com then I have no problem. But it is really a bummer to have to do that everytime the software auto-inserts a name it found in a lookup.
Anybody have the problem? Any one have a solution?

Treo 650 IMEI #
Ok I just got a 650 from ebay and don't know if its a has a real IMEI on it (the long # under the battery) I wanna know if there is a way to find if its valid? It starts 354427000****** is that a real # or does any one else have this #.

Slow key response
Hi
During calls if I am asked to key in (enter) numbers (e.g. while calling Cingular customer’s support I have to key in my telephone number) the response is extremely slow. Is someone else experiencing the same problem? Is there a fix to this slow performance during the call?

Internet speed and browsing vs V3???
Just picked up the Motorola V3 and was deciding between it and the Treo 650. Beyond the data package cost, is the speed of the internet on the 650 that much faster than the V3? Does the 650 have a full browser? Is it worth it? I have a few weeks to exchange the V3 if I want. Should I? I like the size of the V3, but the internet speed and limited browser is a let down.
Battery Info
Can anyone tell me what the bettery life is for the Treo 650 after using it as a PDA? Does it make a massive difference or is it barely noticable. Also, i know you can turn off the phone part, can you also turn off the PDA part of the phone?
